We have had a busy Easter holidays and some decent weather as well. The ponies have still got pretty thick winter coats, but are starting to moult.Jasper has wintered quite well and he hasn't had to visit fat camp yet!!
The pony club kids who have braved the weather most of the winter held an Easter games day at the end of the holidays. It was great fun ducking for apples and cadburys egg and spoon races, even Paula had a go.I suggested they have a Mum's race but there were no takers!!
I will download some photos soon.
Gail ( Freya's Mum)is competing this weekend in a dressage competition Good luck, hope everything goes well.
Have had a few trips to local point to points to watch Adam this year. He had his first winner at Corbridge on Sunday riding Frontier Lad.Photos on Grossick Racing if you want to see some of the action shots.

Is anyone as sick of this weather as I am?We have mud everywhere and horses munching hay all day and every day.Luckily we got a new tractor at Christmas and it's already working overtime.
The Christmas holidays were a no go as far as riding went.We were snowbound for about six weeks.Even the Herdwicks were looking for food as there were no blades of grass to be seen.
Snap went to his new home in Yorkshire where he is behaving well and everyone loves him.Hope to hear he is doing some dressage soon.
Have a look at our Facebook site for some old photos added by Kelly. See if you recognise some of the old faces!!
